Steven Jackson to Dallas

Postby ajgnydc722 » Thu Apr 22, 2004 8:40 pm

What are the chances of Steven Jackson dropping to Dallas? I don't think there is any chance of the Tuna trading up to get him but there aren't a whole lot of teams drafting before the Cowboys that need a RB. I'd love to draft him but Kevin Jones wouldn't be a bad consolation. I really hope we get one of the two though.

Fantasy-wise, Stephen Jackson to Detroit and Kevin Jones to Dallas would be nice and also realistic. I say those two teams because it wouldn't create a frickin' RBBC.

I've read that the Cowboys really like Chris Perry and want to take him in the second round, focusing elsewhere in the first.

...It doesn't make sense to me...

I think Dallas is looking d-line in the first round.

I don't know about that. Mariucci LOVES RBBC. I would hope that Jackson would get the majority in that scenario but I would expect the other RBs to get more than their fair share of carries.

I don't think any HC in the NFL *LOVES* RBBC. If you have one guy who can do it all, that's great. Unfortunately, there are very few guys who CAN do it all, hence the need for RBBC.

I hope you're right. My perspective may be skewed by Barlow's inability to take over for Hearst all those years.
