I agree, that was a dumb deal for NYG IMO. Good deal for SD since Eli probably would be a waste of a pick anyway

The only way I will look back and decide that this trade was good for New York is if:

a) Manning throws for 4000+ like his brother and Rivers turns out to be a bust
b) Manning leads the Giants far into the playoffs next year and the first rounder that they are giving up next year is late 20's.
c) Er...little help here? It's gonna be pretty hard to decide it was a good trade for NYG.
