an absolute horrible trade by the giants. San Diego straight up ripped them off. And Eli Manning is a total ahole and a jerk anyways for screwing the chargers over. (though the chargers adapted nicely.)

If the Chargers and the Giants are the worst two teams next year I wouldn't be all that surprised. They each still have alot of holes and the Giants really hurt themselves with that deal. A QB can't turn a team around if he doesn't have anybody around him and now they will have a hard time filling those holes outside of free agency or trades for this year and next.

The Giants needed a pretty face marketing wise to go up against the Jets's Chad Pennington.

I also feel that Rivers will be the better QB. Nice move by the Bolts.

Ok lets not get too hasty here peoples. Sure the deal looks hell bad now, but what if Eli turns out to be as good or better than Peyton? Then the deal wont look all that bad will it? In fact people will laugh at SD for once again missing out on a franchise QB. I realise that Eli didnt wanna play for SD (for which i now think he is tool) but the Giants put their balls on the line and took a risk, and for that i take my hat off. Lets wait and see how good Eli/Rivers turn out to be before we make judgements on the deal.

P.S-i hope SD do get the first two picks next season, that would be too funny.

Eli is very good no doubt..but Giants could have got him cheaper.

If Giants and Chargers are both the worse team next year, it is obvious the Chargers are the huge winners in the deal.
