Rookie Fantasy Monsters

Postby Lushcrush » Tue Apr 27, 2004 1:40 pm

Since Winslow already seems to have a nickname and a large following, lets go down the list of rookies who have actually become "Fantasy Monsters" ...
I'll lead off with Portis and LT. I guess we could throw Boldin in there .
Who else?

Maybe Boldin does qualify at 1377 yds and 8 TD's. Anybody agree?

Lets concentrate on rookie year only ... career is another thing altogether.

Dan Marino - 1983, 20 TDs, 6 ints., 2210 yds, 96.0 rating;
this in 11 games, 9 of which he started. Nowhere near his sophmore NFL season (48 TDs, 5084 yds), but pretty darn good.
