So, basically, Winslow wants a $21 million contract as an unproven, rookie tight end?

Consider this:

Todd Heap's contract is worth $6.1 million over 5 years...

Jeremy Shockey's contract is worth $8.5 million over 5 years...

Winslow must be delusional...

I have absolutely no sympathy for Cleveland. You reap what you sow.

Winslow is a chump, I will give you that. But is he more highly touted than either Shockey or Heap was coming out of college. Also Shockey went 13th and Heap went 31st, so there is a variation there in terms of contracts also.

Wow, it's four days after the draft people. Not too many top 10 picks sign right away, he never said he wasn't going to and Cleveland as far as I know hasn't even made an offical offer. Who said Cleveland wasn't willing to pay what Kellen was asking? Let's at least give it some time before we burn Kellen at the stake.

Seriously, what is the big deal? KW2 said if he got #6 money, he would be in camp. That doesnt seem to unreasonable because..... he was drafted #6! Obviously he is a hell of a player or he wouldn't have been drafted so high. Im just wondering why you people are so quick to talk bad about him when he just wants what he deserves.

look at the #6 pick from 2003 NFL Draft and add 10%. That's the standard.
