Old School Nintendo

Postby DUKE » Wed Apr 28, 2004 11:00 am

Remember the old nintendos? I just cleaned out a house that my folks were renting out and found a bunch of old nintendo games that someone left there in the basement. Bringing back memories of punching the Hell out of the top of mine when I was younger makes me want to go out and buy one. How much should I expect to pay for one? Anyone have one they want to sell cheap? Thanks~

I still have mine! Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt, best combo game ever ;-D

I see around once in a while, I wouldn't expect to pay more than $20 for the system.

Yes - my favorite game for Nintendo. I also liked River City Ransom, Battletoads, Super Mario/Duck Hunt should be in everyone's stack of games.

Good 'ol Nintendo... I have some games, but the asking price would be astronomical - too much sentimental value, y'see.

Anyway, the best spot to buy Nintendo games would probably be...

eBay.com.

Nice selection, good value, ect., ect.

Wow, EBAY? I never knew such a site existed. What a novel concept :-D

Yes, I figured I'd end up there, but wanted to see if anyone here had one first, and to spark up some nostalgia for some of us who old school nintendo box....I'm now even considering buying an Atari, after browsing that EBAY site you guys discovered. I think it was Mercer Boy in an older thread, but I found out the name one of my favorite games as a child from WAY back; Kaboom.
