That's for a two-player game...Since I had no friends, I left out the "select" and got 30 guys just for me. ;-D

Yeah...and at age 7, I used to think the NBA was entirely comprised of these 4 teams... :-/

We used to play Tecmo all the time in college. We were more partial to the original Tecmo Bowl, before they had all the teams. It was fun to put our PSOnes and N64s away for a while and break out the old-school classics we grew up on.

A couple other classic NES games that haven't been mentioned are Baseball Stars and Super Dodgeball.

Baseball Stars was revolutionary in that it was the first real baseball game that let you make your team and power them up. Of course all your hard work would randomly be wiped out every couple months or so because the saving process wasn't all that great on the NES.

Super Dodgeball is very underrated. Very few I've talked to have ever played it. The ones that have understand though.

I've heard a ton about it, but I've never played it. This is probably due to the fact I didn't have anyone to play it with, and I'm sure it's one of those games where you could have multiple players (4 at a time).

We also played a baseball game at college, but it wasn't Baseball Stars. The one we would play was called "Little League Championship Series." It was a pretty fun game, especially seeing the little kids cry and smack their bat on home plate when they struck out to end an inning :-b

I would play as Chinese Taipei most of the time; they were pretty good (16 year olds posing as 12 year olds does that). They had some funny named players, like Dong and Song. I would arrange some of them in my lineup so that three of the hitters in a row were Cha, Ho, and Park...Supposed to be like Chan Ho Park without the n of course.

I don't really have anything to add, however I like deftdelivery's new avatar. I tried to use it a few months ago, but couldn't make it fit. I used it as my desktop for a while, though. :-D ...gotta love the jumping fat girl. ;-D
