GIFFC - Free fantasy football - new leagues forming

The Global Internet Fantasy Football Confederation is a group of fantasy football leagues that play under the same rulebook and have a championship game involving all GIFFC league champions.

The leagues are salary cap, dynasty leagues with a silent auction for initial player dispersion. The silent auction is also used twice each offseason for free agent signings. These are pretty much a year round leagues with two free agent signing periods and a rookie draft going on during each offseason.

We started with two leagues last year and are now looking to add at least one more league, maybe more.

There are no costs to play. All leagues are free.

One league has been filled and has already started the silent auction draft to fill rosters.
A second league is almost full. A third league may be started as well if there is enough interest.

This is a year 'round league. There are 2 free agent signing periods during the offseason, each one lasting 4 weeks. There is also a 5 round rookie draft. Both, the free agent signing periods and the rookie draft will start after the first year. This year, teams will fill their rosters using a silent auction draft. This can be expected to last about 4-5 weeks, maybe more, maybe less. I want to make sure you and anybody else interested, knows what to expect and what will be expected of you.
