I know where he's going. I still stand behind my first statement. If you had to draft him as your No. 1 RB you got problems.

I wouldn't want Fred as my #1 back, but if it meant I could get a Faulk/Henry/Moss in the 2nd round I wouldn't mind.

He finally shakes off the injury title (maybe), and now he goes back to vulture fodder. I would say he probably drops out of the top 10 RB's if this is the case.

Leftwich is going to get better, also - and their receiving corps is getting better. This could also mean some more long pass TD's and/or stops near the goal line. If this happens, Freddie might not even get the eight he got with Mack taking goal line duties...

That sucks. I doubt it changes my rankings of him much though. He was sitting at 11-12 on my board. And I had him fairly higher than the guys right behind him. (Barlow, Johnson)

Poor Freddy....

Maybe the continuance of not taking the big hits on the goal-line will keep him healthy, thats the only positive i can pull from this situation for him.

Not really. He wasn't a big TD guy the past two seasons. Last year he finished 8th for RBs with only 7 total TDs. Getting him at the 10-11 spot was a semi bargain. He just has less upside at that spot that he did before Greg Jones.

I am a big FSU fan and Greg jones will be a huge part of the jaguars offense. This guy is a bull and very hard to bring down. I was hopeing for the Cowboys to draft him but instead they go and draft Jones from Notre Dame... Greg Jones will be a keeper for the Jags!

what does freddy have to do, to gain the respect of the coaching staff? i think he deserves the goaline carries this season, and see how it goes from there on...at least make greg jones compete for the carries, dont just give them to him.

I wouldn't expect Jones to get more than Mack did in 2002:

110 touches, 500 yards and 8 touchdowns.

If you can live with 1500~1700 yards and 7~8 TDs from Taylor, then profit.
