Looking for a Private Fantasy Football League for 2004

Postby jhaggs » Tue May 04, 2004 6:57 pm

Dear Cafe,

I have been selected to be the commishinor of my fantasy football league in 2004. This is a private keeper league going on its 5 season. We have 16 owners in our league. IN previous seasons, we have always used Yahoo to host our league. While we have been pleased with Yahoo's service, it cannot service our league any longer due to its availible league options. I am looking for a fantasy football service that can do the following:

# Hold a 16 team league
# Allow us to customize the schedule
# Allow us to have multiple divisons
# Allow us to cusomize the how teams maekt he playoffs (top 2 teams make the playoffs in each of the 4 divisons)
# Allow us to customize our starters and scoring options
# Ample researching tools
# Provide a message board

I would appreciate ANY feedback that can point me into the right direction towards a fantasy league provider that can meet my private leagues needs. Apologies if posts like mine have already been posted.

Thanks in advance,

James

Thanks for the link. I made a test league today and sent out invites. This looks like a winner. If you get a chance, I was hoping if you could point out some of the pros and cons of the site.

For Fantasy Football, Sideline Software, aka. FLM, aka Mike Hall, is THE BEST by a wide margin, END OF STORY, look no further!
Their PC-based product is FLM http://www.fflm.com
Their WEB-based product is http://www.myfantasyleague.com

I HAVE THE PERFECT SITE FOR YOU

Postby black_Fire » Sat May 29, 2004 5:22 pm

you customize EVERYTHING. http://www.fanstar.com
Only problem is you have to pay, if you get this today or tomarrow (May 30th) you can get the early bird price-which is $74 and everyone would have to pay less than $5 to break even. Otherwise the normal price is $94 and then everyone would have to pay less than $6. BUT THAT IS FOR A 16 person league. Thing that is cool is that you can break everyone into divisions, and here you can have 2 drafts, but still have players from the different drafts vs each other. Max you can have is 32 teams. I have a league, and I have a main league which cost $20 to get in (grand prize is $566) and I also have qualifyer leagues for next year. Cost is $5, and if you win the $5 league you can get into our main event for free. If your interested in joining my league (we also do several other free leagues besides this one) make sure you go to (and join both) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/olympicfantasyfootball
