Wat's up everyone?! I think it's time we started chatting abou the upcoming fantasy season. Anything goes in this forum....draft tips, hot sleepers, trade questions, and if you have any questions regarding anything....I'm sure someone will know the answer in here! I'm always good at giving advice as well....so yes have fun!
I'll start us off with one of my questions. Who do you think will win the starting job in Oakland? Will they run the dreaded running bak by commitee? With Gallery, Grove, etc. I think if one of those guys wins the feature-back gig, they can be a solid fantasy contributor. Personally I'd like to see Justin Fargas given a shot.
I think wheatley will begin the season as the starter. There won't be one back getting all the carries this season but there will be one who will get the most. If Fargas can stay healthy I think he has the best shot at becoming the closest thing to a feature back along with amos. But that is a big if. They will all contribute and all signs currently point to a rbbc.

You may be on to something, GS. I personally see Steady Eddie coming home to roost with the Philadelphia Eagles for the veteran minimum and a shot at a ring. Oakland, however, could provide a Steven Davis-like renaissance for him, if he's not too beat up to carry the load one more time.

LOL, yeah - it's a longshot. Seems to make sense for both parties, though.
I could definitely see him going to Phili for a year or two. I hadn't thought of that one. I'm sure he'd love a SB victory before they put him out to pasture and he wouldn't get it in Oakland.
I'd have to go with Tyrone Wheatley. I've been impressed by him whenever he's received the majority of the carries (he isn't pretty, but he gets the job done).

Norv likes a big brusing RB. That favors Tyrone Wheatley. Two things work against Wheatley: His age (31) and he went to Michigan. However.. Despite his age, he only has 1100 carries on his body. Not exactly beat down. At the same time, that means he just wasn't very good the last 10 seasons. Probably something to stay away from this season. I could see someone taking Wheatley and Fargas as their #3 and #4 RBs, but nothing higher.
