I've heard ESPN is going to be making a major push to try and have a better game than Madden this year. I've always been pretty religious in buying Madden, but I'm still curious about how good the ESPN game will be.

The NFL2K/ESPN series has always been great. I've ended up waiting until Madden and ESPN are around $20 and picking both up over the last four or five years and haven't regretted it - although I'm still trying to find the logic in what good owning two football games from the same year is.

Anyway, I'm excited for Madden and ESPN.

Well, the whole hot routes on D thing doesn't really help me out that much, becaues I usually covered the holes in my D manually with the safeties anyhow.

ESPN's big selling points this year are all outside of gameplay, which is where they're trailing Madden, so I'll probably still be sticking with Madden. ESPN is gonna have an NFL Primetime type show with highlights from the games in franchise mode, and have midweek practices, as well as online trades, and more features in the "cribs" thing (waste). I'll stick with the great gameplay of Madden over the features that will probably wear out quickly anyhow...

Lol I guess, this years is gonna help me stop the pass better now cause im avr giving up over 300 yrds passing a game, but I have a stellar run def.(havent allowed anyone to rush over 90 yards).

That's about the way everyone goes.. It's impossible to stop the A1 pass over the course of the entire game.. Running game is easy, but I haven't seen anyone consistently stop the A1 passing game.. What level do you play on?
