i've seen santana moss ranked pretty high on most peoples lists so far. I had him last year and he helped me win a championship! my only concern was his last 7 games in which he had a high of 76 yrds. and zero TD's!! It seemed to me that teams sort of had him figured out. I'm gonna put him on my potential bust list this year. just wanted to know if anyone else has some insight as to why his production went into the tank at the end of last year?
You'll probably find one guy in every league that rates him higher than he should be, so to me that kind of negates what I think of him, he'll be gone by the time I would consider drafting him.
Pennington and the Jets love to spread the ball around and Santana will pick up extra coverage.
If he was my 3rd WR i'd be happy, but like I said someone will take him high.

It's true what Homeless said, I would consider him late 3rd or early 4th, but somebody feels the need to take him at the beginning of the 3rd in every draft.

The 3rd/4th round WR crop is always a pitfall for busts (think Burress, Moulds, Krob, Boston last year). This year has plenty of potential candidates like S. Moss and Boldin.
The question is whether or not to grab moss/boldin ahead of guys like Coles/Mason/Horn that are more likely to be stable and less likely to blow up.
I'd take Mason, Boldin, Horn, Coles, Moss in that order.
In my opinion, Santana is pretty much equal to about 5 other WR's and it's a coin flip if he will be better or worse than those guys. He makes a decent #1 WR and a solid #2.

What about Steve Smith, he had a damn fine year last year? As for Mr other Moss, in 10 team mock drafts with TE Req hes going on average in 4.07 and 3.02 at the highest. In the mockdraft me and cafe regulars Slowkidz and Canacuna, he went in the 5.04 posistion, right behind former teammate L Coles. Thats a little late in my opinion. I like him as a 2nd or a 3rd WR, but I think you can do better for a #1. Of course he could be like Plaxico Burress or D Boston last year (who i had both of in one league . easy to see i didnt win that one) its really a toss up
I have Santana Moss as a top fifteen WR. A good #2 WR to have, but I'd be wary of having him as my #1 at this point. He was a stud in the middle weeks of last season, but disappeared in the later weeks when defenses starting keying in on him. Hopefully McCareins will be able to take some coverage off (and he should), but I'll be waiting another year to be comfortable with him as a #1 fantasy WR.
