Timeouts an issue? (Martz)

After that I believe what Mike Martz had said, as the first half you should use all three of your time outs even if you don't need to, as you get 3 more the next half. An extra rest wouldnt hurt the players and you can sure use em when you don't see what you lined up on d when the off uses something out of the ordinary. But why does Herman Edwards just want timeouts only used in only the last 5 mins of the 2nd & 4th quarters, hes insane or what?

I like Herman Edwards but that idea is insane. Most timeouts are called by teh QB to beat the play clock. That rule would result in more delays of game and the NFL does not need that. I say keep the TO rule how it is.

Um... no. That doesn't sound like the best of ideas in Canacuna's opinion.

So the consenus so far, that nobody would agree with Herman so far, not to put him down hes a solid coach, but this, it has to be one of his unwise decision to say, it probably end up biting him in the ass eevn if it did pass.

Herman Edwards only wants that because the Jets are terrible at managing the clock. They wasted the most timeouts on play clock stoppages out of any team in the NFL last year.
