too many RBs?

like another cafe user, i had the 15th pick in a 16 team league. this is a dynasty league and is td heavy.

with my first 2 picks i got mccallister and edge. i felt lucky as hell to get duece with the 15th overall pick and might have reached a little bit on edge, but i like him so.....

with picks 3 and 4 i got fred taylor and steve mcnair. both of which i felt were really good bargains with the 47th and 50th overall. they were also the best players on the board IMO.

only draw back to this strategy is my wr's are kinda weak. but i did end up with porter and k robinson(we are still in the 8th round with me about to pick again).

with my 6th pick i took mike bennett. this leaves me with duece, edge, taylor and bennett to go along with mcnair, krob and porter.

my question is do i take a wr(marcus robinson, lee evans) or te( that i feel isnt worth taking in this round, or do i take another starting rb(thomas jones, oaklands rb or hearst) ?

im on the clock so help me out if you can.

My question is - who are you drafting against? Seriously. You might want to let them know this is a fantasy football league, so drafting Tiger Woods or Dale Earnhard Jr. may not be in their best interest.

I dont think Id go after another RB - to answer your question.
Get a solid TE or go after WRs.

Edge a reach at #17 overall? He goes 9th in most mocks.

Deuce at 15? He goes 5th in most mocks.

Freddy T at 47?!?!?!??! He goes 10-15 in most drafts.

I would say you could sit the rest of this draft out and still win your league unless there's something you're not telling us about the scoring system.

I agree with CM, go for a WR or TE (or even a solid QB backup).

I agree with the others here. Could you post up the draft results for the first and maybe second round. I'm keen to see how those RB dropped so far.

Yeah i wouldn't take another RB, the only reason i would take another solid RB is if it's apparent other teams are short on RB (which i assume should be the case) and there aren't any startable WR available, in which case you could stockpile your RB and maybe do some trades later. That's a risky strategy though.

other than the obvious bad picks team 13 IMO there arent that many BAD picks, maybe a few reaches though.

i did forget to tell ya that you have the choice of starting 3 wrs or 2wrs and a te. i think thats is why everyone went wr crazy.

Is there something you're not telling us about the scoring? Do QB's get crazy mad points? Because about 7 QB's went a good 3-4 rounds too early.

the scoring is set up so that everyone scores about the same number of points.(position wise)

passing tds 2 points
100 yards passing 1 point
rushing/recieving tds 4 points
40 yards rush/recieve 1 point
fgs 2points
xtra points 1 point
ints and fumble recoverys 1 point
there is no rounding so 39 yards is 0 points and 99 yards passing is 0 and so on.....
