Yea, this almost makes me want to get the XBox but the two reasons that were mentioned already turn me off. The fact that it costs money to play online is a real turn-off and the controllers are crap. I don't mind the size but the shoulder buttons are hard to use. In madden you have to try to direct your jukes and stuff-arms. When I first got a PS2 I thought the four shoulder buttons was nuts but it adds a lot to Madden. It gives you a lot more control as to where you go.
Zimm, I have to disagree. I was the same with both the Xbox and PS2 controllers. The four shoulder buttons killed me but once I got them down, I loved the control. The same happened with Xbox. At first I would juke all over the place, but once I got it down, it became more natural.
And now, I think I have better control on the Xbox than I do on my PS2.
Sadly the PS2 will die soon enough though because Madden was responsible for my staying around.

I don't get this. If you own a PC (which you had to use to make this post), you can get just about any of the big xbox games.
Seriously, all these xbox people sit here and talk about ghost recon, unreal, return to castle wolfenstein, etc. Uh, yeah, I remember those games.....from the 3 years ago I played them on my PC.
The PS2 games like the FF series, MGS series, GTA series, Gran Turismo series, etc are all exclusive.

GTA is no longer exclusive to the PS2, they came out with versions for the Xbox also, which only adds to the superiority of the Xbox now. And im not a Xbox person because i personally own a PS2, but am seriously considering owning and Xbox
