Guess theres no reason to buy a PS2 over an Xbox now IMO........EA Sports was the only reason. Xbox better games, graphics

I don't get this. If you own a PC (which you had to use to make this post), you can get just about any of the big xbox games.

Seriously, all these xbox people sit here and talk about ghost recon, unreal, return to castle wolfenstein, etc. Uh, yeah, I remember those games.....from the 3 years ago I played them on my PC.

The PS2 games like the FF series, MGS series, GTA series, Gran Turismo series, etc are all exclusive.

GTA is no longer exclusive to the PS2, they came out with versions for the Xbox also, which only adds to the superiority of the Xbox now. And im not a Xbox person because i personally own a PS2, but am seriously considering owning and Xbox

The new GTA is supposed to be out for PS2 this winter.

yeah shat, not to mention that the XBox system and controller will take up your entire living room...

haha in my town we call the orignal controllers bergers. but anyways there is a simple solution to the problem just get a smaller controller for the same price. and mad-cat controlers suck and dont buy the controller with a fan in it breaks easy. I dont own a x-box just expriences with friends x-boxs and x-box controlers

It might not be worth changing counsel, now. I think both microsoft and sony are coming out with new counsels in a couple of years, like 2006.

I researched the new consoles before buying my PS2 a few months ago. They're all (Nintendo "N5", Sony PS3, and Microsoft's "Xbox 2" or whatever) supposed to be coming out around Christmas 2005, which means it'll be about spring '06.

If Sony starts charging for online play, there's no way I'm getting a PS3.

Zimm, I have to disagree. I was the same with both the Xbox and PS2 controllers. The four shoulder buttons killed me but once I got them down, I loved the control. The same happened with Xbox. At first I would juke all over the place, but once I got it down, it became more natural.

And now, I think I have better control on the Xbox than I do on my PS2.

Sadly the PS2 will die soon enough though because Madden was responsible for my staying around.

i agree, Zimm have you ever played madden on xbox... it isn;t that hard it is just as hard as trying to remember which !@#$ trigger to press on ps2s controllers. I mean 4 triggers wtf will u use all of those for.

And second the controllers have been changed everybody says there soooo big there not they just remodeled them into a new S variant.. so they are awesome.

Actually yes, I've played Madden on Xbox multiple times. To me it is way easier to remember to press the left tigger button to juke left than to hit the right trigger button and press left on the control stick. It's also easier for me to remember to press the right bottom trigger button to stiff-arm right than to remember to press the left trigger button and right on the control stick to juke that way. Another thing that most don't realize the PS2 has is with the analog controllers if you don't hit the juke buttons hard it is a different juke. You can keep more speed and if used right can be very effective. The Xbox doesn't have that.

depends which system you bought first IMO Ive played both multiple times, I like XBOx's

Anyway, this is GREAT news. a great game finally goes live, I am buying this years version again. i cant decide whether to wait on mvp or not though

not to mention Xbox's Process is like 700 MHz while PS2's is like 400 MHz (Translation-It simulates stuff way faster)

I think xbox dominates the ps2. The only thing ps2 had was online play and now that over. Only thing i appreciate about ps2 is you dont pay monthly, but come to think about it. you had to pay 40 bucks for the Network adapter. The only thing that stop me from regreting to get a xbox is i like to play online leagues. Everything else doesn't really interest me. The controllers is a lame argueement, because everyone adapts sooner or later. I have played both systems and came to that conclusion.
