What is the optimum league size?

I have played in a 8 team, 12 team, 16 team, and 10 team league. I think 16 is too much-I dont like taking scraps and having a ton of mediocre teams. 8 team can be fun cause there are a lot of good teams and mos of your players are pretty good. 12 team is ok, but my favorite has to be 10. You dont have crap all over the place, but you also dont have a bunch of loaded teams.

12 or 14 teams, I actually prefer 14 teams. Scheduling-wise, it works perfectly. Everyone plays everyone else once during the season, and there is a 3-week, 8 team, playoff. You have to do your research to win, but you don't have to have scrubs on your roster.

I actually don't really care what size league it is, just so every manager is very active and competitive. Larger leagues are just harder to win because there are more teams. (8 teams, 1 out of 8 wins; 14 teams, 1 out of 14 wins)

i like a 12 team league because you usually need to have a sleeper or 2 developing on the bench as well as one starting ( all usually at WR). The 14 team soiunds interesting, i might even like that more
