Let's see....

1) Keeper league with a bunch of friends

2) Redraft league with about half of the same people (thinking about quitting this one though, but it's nice getting to have less invested and muck about with the good friends)

3) DrunkenKeeper league run by Plindsey

4) Free Yahoo league (maybe)

And that will about do it. I've been in as many as 6, and started with 1. I usually bounce around, trying to find good stuff. Last year was a bit frustrating, where if I lost 1 game (out of 4), I was happy, but if I went 2-2 or worse, I was disgusted....

I think I'm getting the 10-year itch. Trying to decide if I spend too much time on the addiction, er, hobby....

Like many others around here, I can no longer confine myself to one type of league. Plus, multiple leagues means I always have something to do. Add in to that the fact that the league with my friends is fun as hell, but not very competitive (they don't put nearly the time into it that I do), and I have a need for a more serious competitive league to go with the just for fun one. So, that leaves:

So, that leaves me in the 2-5 slot.

Keeper league is where you draft your team and then the following season each team keeps a preset number of players and the rest go into a player pool which is then used for a re-draft.

Dynasty league you draft your team in the first season and you keep all the players from season to season. You only draft the rookies before each season from then on.

I'm gonna hit about three this year ... which I admit takes a little bit of the "rooting" out of things.
Long time league where my wife works ... this is the 9th year.
League with local high school football coaches ... fun to spank them.
Auction/Dynasty League at the Cafe ... this will be a new thing for me.

Keep an eye out in the Classifieds Forum. There's always some Keepers and Dynasty Leagues Foruming about this time up until the season starts.

In the past I was very overzealous. I've joined as many as thirteen leagues at once before. You definitely start to lose track and have to root for too many different players. It helped me learn a lot though since I got to test out lots of different drafting. I'm sticking with four leagues at most this season (I say that every year).

I've usually only done one or two.

This year I'm already in three......going to limit it to 3-5.

1) Dynasty Money League with my friends who know what they're talking about

2) League with a bunch of dumbass friends from school

3) Joint team in Yahoo public league with my buddy.
