My favorite mag is the Sporting News one. It usually comes out in June.

What are some of the mags you guys usually pick up each year?

Thats exactly my thoughts. Not to mention the fact they snubbed Edge in favor of Faulk and Barlow :-t

Anquan Boldin still rated in the top 10 - gotta love it! }:-)

I love the sportingnews football preview. i dont use any magazines for fantasy football since they quickly become outdated, but sportingnews annuel season previews have good content about teams, and they are usually pretty accurate with there predictions on division winners and team grades.

I always buy these mags. Are they pointless cause they suck? yes. is it a waste of money? no. It gives me a thrill of the upcoming season more than staring at the screed :-) Besides, its always good to get many opinions ;-D

Too early for me to bother looking at a magazine. I like reading the articles and interviews that usually aren't pertinent until closer to the season.

I really enjoyed FantasyGuru's inaugural issue last year...they had a good interview with Portis and an informative one with a trainer, explaining injuries and healing times. You can get rankings anywhere - I look for more in magazines.

side note. I got Guru's sitting here from '02. WOW were they wrong on a TON. Thats ok though, I still like reading the articles and stuff :-)

They had Favre and Warner being the QB kings.

I thought their first mag was last year...maybe I'm thinking of a different mag, but it was the one with Portis on the front and an interview with a trainer.

Where's Favre??? I'd pick him over Aaron Brooks (even though he has less weapons). And Tom Brady.
