Denver RB??

Who to draft:

Hearst (age/health issues)
Griffin (size and durability issues)
Anderson (can he lay off of the dope?)

I want to lay off of all of these RBs, but every time denver has a RB problem, someone comes through.

(Portis in 2002, Anderson in 2001, etc)

Should I target any of these guys or keep away from all of the Denver RBs?

You just have to lay off. Depends on when you draft. Somebody could emerge early, but i would hate to waste a 4-6 rounder on a flyer without knowing. I personally took Bell in a dynasty rookie draft, hopefully he emerges later this year. I can afford to wait.

I don't think anyone (including Shanahan) could tell you who if anyone will be the primary back in Denver this season. If your drafting now then your guess is as good as mine. More information will be available to make a better judgement once preseason starts.

I will make a prediction that a lot of league winners this year will have made the correct prediction on who will be the starter in Denver. If either of them get the full load of carries, that indidvidual would make a great #2 back. Problem is whether Shanny will stick with one guy or go RBBC.

My GUESS is:

Hearst and Griffin split time as the primary HB's, and Anderson is used mainly as the fullback.

Tatum Bell will see limited carries unless he blows up, in which case, Shanahan will not be afraid to go with him...

But, the long and the short of it is that right now you cannot draft any Denver RB with confidence.

My guess is anderson will be primary fullback, hearst is only there one year and will turn the reins over to Bell or Q-Tip. The odd man out may only be there as a backup.
