-- Gonzo Sits; Priest No-Shows --
Wed May 19, 2004 --from FFMastermind.com

The official website of the Kansas City Chiefs reports TE Tony Gonzalez didn’t practice Tuesday. “He has that slight stress fracture in the foot and we’re going extra careful with him,” said HC Dick Vermeil. Meanwhile, RB Priest Holmes wasn’t at practice on Tuesday. “I just found this out this morning. His dad just got back from Iraq and they didn’t know he was coming back. Priest stayed (in San Antonio)," Vermeil Said. "I didn’t talk to Priest. His business associate came over this morning and explained to us the situation. I expect him every day. You can’t make it mandatory but I expect our guys to be here. I’ll probably hear from him today.”

Gonzo had some foot problems last year too, and turned out fine.

His first 3-4 games he didn't do much, but after that he was fantastic.

I dont think it is a problem at all. Doesnt seem serious, they wouldnt want to have their best receiver injured :-)
