Is it Rhodes or little Ricky? Edge may not be around next year and one of these guys might get the ball.

I thought Dominic Rhodes was still a free agent. :-?

If he did resign in Indy, I'd imagine he'd be the main backup. I'm surprised a team in need of a starting RB didn't pick him up...

Little Ricky was released. Rhodes did re-sign. But if Edge gets dinged up this season, I would not be surprised if James Mungro or free-agent Carthon gets the goal-line carries.

You sure about that, ESPN still has RW on their roster.

Yes, I am sure. ESPN probably lists him with Indy because that is the last team he played with. I don't believe he has re-signed with another team yet, although I could be wrong.

That puts Indy in a nice situation if they run into cap problems when Edge's contract is up. Dominic is plenty capable of being a starting RB in the NFL. Nice resigning by Indy. ;-D

Just like how Buckhalter hasnt resigned with the Eagles but he's still the backup, I expect Rhodes will be back with Indy.

If Edge goes down or leaves next year, my money is on Rhodes or Mungro to take over for him. Rhodes has doen alright, but Mungro really impressed me the way he tore it up the few weeks he saw play in 2002. Like 150+ rushing yards and 2-3 TDs against an Eagles def that was ranked in the top rushing defenses at the time. If he's healthy, he could make a bid for playing time this year even with a healthy Edge I think.

Does Edge's current contract run out after this year?

If this is true Rhodes value increases for Keeper and Dynasty leagues.
