Will Lavar Arrington be available on Yahoo. He wasn't last year, but I don't know the latest news on him. Is he worth the risk of drafting and not having him be on Yahoo's database? Will he be there by the start of the season?

In our league, we just used a player to represent arrington and calculated his points ourselves. But we only used Yahoo! as a reference and not to represent actual scores.

Doubtful he'll be there. He signed a contract and in at signed that he agreed to be marketed by the NFL. Now his attorny is arguing that fact.

So I guess he was put in when he was allowed to be marketed like all other players, but if he gets out of this contract clause, he'll be pulled off the rosters.

He is either.

A. Not in the players' union
B. Has(d) a clause in his contract that said the NFl or anyone else is not allowed to use his likeness to market or sell anything. (i.e. No football cards, video games, fantasy football, jerseys? I'm assuming)

Or C. Both A and B.

Yeah I don't get it either. Why can't they put 'Washington LB' or something like that. SF Left Fielder has worked for us this year for Barry.

I dont get why he wont do it, he makes money. Everyone know him anyway. Madden has LB #51 for him, I dont see why Yahoo couldnt do something like that.

Yahoo probably cant do that b/c they are taking his actual stats to generate the scoring. In Madden they just give #51 attributes and skills, not what he did on a particular sunday
