May 23, 2004
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Baltimore Ravens defensive back Corey Fuller was charged with the use of a firearm in commission of a felony, the latest charge stemming from his arrest for allegedly running a gambling house.
Fuller was arrested last month and charged with hosting high-stakes card games at his house, the site of a shootout in January. The felony charge carries a possible five-year state prison sentence and $5,000 fine.
Along with the firearm charge, Assistant State Attorney Matt Smith said Friday Fuller was also being charged with misdemeanor gambling.
