News: According to the team's official website, Vikings running back Michael Bennett is completely healed from foot surgery and will be the team's No. 1 running back this season. "If minicamp was any indication, I think Michael is totally healed from that foot injury he had last year," said head coach Mike Tice. "He looked absolutely phenomenal, has matured some as a football player, seems to be more serious and focused, more grown up. Michael is going to be the guy."
Analysis: Tice's positive outlook on Bennett makes him much more appealing as a No. 2 Fantasy running back.
I thought something of this nature was produced a while ago? Sure, Bennett will be the starter and receive the majority of the carries, but he will still have to share the ball with Moe Williams and Onterrio Smith. He'll still put up some Tiki Barber-esque stats though, IMO.
Michael Bennett: Starter, majority of the carries.
About 1,200 yards rushing, four-seven TDs.
Onterrio Smith: Third down, provide a breather for Bennett.
About 400 yards, two-five TDs.
Moe Williams: Goal line RB, third down RB.
About 300 yards, six to eight TDs.
...or something along those lines, methinks.

It is true, tice is a liar,BUT,bennett is not a bad running back, as to say he has done quite a bit for that team,i dont think the fans have forgotten that and tice would be a fool not to give him a chance, given the chance bennett will achieve GREAT THINGS THIS YEAR.also he is still young,if he were a little older,i'd have 2nd thoughts, but this guy is definatly a SOLID #2 back, possibly #1..............
I like any Minnesota RB behind that line they have. Bennett will provide solid numbers for a #2 back. Picking him up in the 3rd or 4th round would be an excellent value.
