Or so Tim Brown believes...

Ray Ratto, SF Gate - During a WR Tim Brown's radio interview, he essentially said the starting QB job will go to Kerry Collins because Rich Gannon won't take a pay cut. Brown is known for being either wired into, or brilliantly attuned to, the thought processes of his employers. In other words, when he says the Raiders are going to do something, he's either been told it, or he's pretty well sussed it out.

Interesting. I'd like the coaches to go into preseason without any bias, and just let Collins and Gannon fight it out.

Collins could be real productive if he got the gig.

Collins deserves it, he has way more skills than Gannon.

Rack 'em!
I say they cut Gannon because of his stubborness about his contract, unless it's garuanteed I can see no way the Raiders would honor it. And I would like him to be cut just because he is such a prick.
