Best in Franchise History

Postby Poobah » Sat May 29, 2004 7:18 pm

Pro Football Weekly recently sifted through the annals of NFL history to develop a list of 5 candidates deemed "the best in the history of the franchise". Apparently you can vote on profootballweekly.com for the player you think is the best of the best. They will do one team a week between June 6 and Jan 15, starting with Arizona and finishing with Washington. The Texans candidates are:

QB David Carr
RB Domanick Davis
CB Aaron Glenn
P Chad Stanley
DL Gary Walker

I always liked Glenn also. I think in the end Carr or DD will pull out.

I like Glenn too, I think it will be Carr or the unmentionned Andre Johnson.

Azrael, I like the way you think on this one. Gotta go with Sharper, if only because I went to high school with him. He certainly ought to be on there instead of the punter, yikes....
