Best in Franchise History

Pro Football Weekly recently sifted through the annals of NFL history to develop a list of 5 candidates deemed "the best in the history of the franchise". Apparently you can vote on profootballweekly.com for the player you think is the best of the best. They will do one team a week between June 6 and Jan 15, starting with Arizona and finishing with Washington. The Saints candidates are:

PK Morton Andersen
LB Rickey Jackson
QB Archie Manning
WR Eric Martin
LB Sam Mills

Andersen because of all the points...Manning and Mills are close though.

Sam Mills. Anderson is close with all his points and consistency, but Sam Mills I loved watching him when I got the chance.

I was always a big fan of Rickey Jackson and Sam Mills......even though all I've seen is videos.

Outside of a few good years, Archie Manning was average at best. Plus, he's an ass.
