Looking for any information or experiences.
Has anybody played any fantasy college football?
Host sites? FA?/CFFL?/USN? ?????
By conference? Or Div I at large?
Good or bad experiences?
etc.

There aren't any public hosts sites for college football cuz that'd be illegal...they don't have rights to any players. However, there might be some private places, but you'd have to talk to the owner. I've honestly never heard of any fantasy leagues for college sports

I'm in a college fantasy bball league. We only allow the six big conferences, because in the smaller ones there are kids who aren't that great with great stats due to their lame competition

What site runs it?

It's not run through a site. It's not allowed legally. We have a commish who setup the site and keeps the stats.

College football seems like it would be kinda difficult. You could probably build just as good of a team through WW acquisitions because all of these kids you never heard of from non-power conference teams emerge during the year as scoring machines. Just look at some of last years top players.

QBs- Hill from Marshall, Dinwiddle from Boise St., Roethlisberger, B.J Symons

RBs - Knight from BC, Cobbs from North Texas, Turner from N. Illinois, Dontrelle Moore from New Mexico

WR - McArthur from Cal, Nance from Miami(OH), Anderson from Col. St, Wright from Mid Tenn St.

I mean, no one heard of these guys and they would have carried your team to a "supposed" college championship. Just seems kind of pointless to draft when you can make a team up just as good in the first few weeks from the WW.

Yeah, the playing field is much too wide to have it open to any conference. If you limit it to certain conferences, then it's feasible...just gotta find someone who will do the stats manually.

These guys have a site that runs a college dynasty league.

They're currently trying to fill their 3rd league up, I believe. Just get in touch with one of the commissioners of the 2 existing leagues and I bet they can lead you in the right direction.

I almost signed up, but it's a much more involved league than I can take on right now. I can run NFL teams with no effort at all, but try ranking 800 college players (18 team leagues with 45 player rosters).
