Where do you rank Gonzo, Heap, Shockey in non-TE leagues?

Thanks for the informative views guys. I asked because if I'm sitting there around say Round 5-6-7 and I'm not too thrilled about my WR corps to that point, I may just grab Gonzo and I wanted to see where you guys had the Big 3 ranked in terms of WR's (ex. what WR #'s would Gonzo, Shockey, Heap equal)

If Gonzo will outscore, say, the #17 ranked WR then I'll take a long look at him.

I pulled up my league's draft last year and found Shockey went in the 5th, Gonzo followed in the 6th and Heap lasted all the way to the 16th (10 teams, 30 rounds since we play IDP) so most of you are pretty dead on in assuming if I want Gonzo, better get him in that 5-6-7 area

You better do it around the 4th rd IMO if you really want him. If you are banking on him, and someone takes him you really put yourself in a hole.

In my league last year, Gonzo put up some decent numbers. I'd put him in around the top 20 WRs.

Gonzo is the only man that is sure fire... otherwise all of the other tes are useless and basically have the same numbers as a lot of slot receicvers in the nfl...

tony gonzalez scores like a WR, Heap and Shockey do not. They just dont score enough to warrant picking as anything less than say, 5th WR?

Gonzo is top 20 material. Heap and Shockey would be in the latter part of the top 50

Gonzo: 916 yds, 10 tds
Shockey: 535 yds, 2 tds (in 9 games)
Heap: 693 yds, 3 tds


Gonzo put up #2 WR numbers last year. Shockey, if he has played 16 games, he would have had around 900 yds and 3 tds. Shockey is a #3/#4 WR. Heap put up #4/#5 WR numbers last year.
