Need help on defense.

I am currently on my 3rd year on Franchise Mode on Madden 2004 for the Xbox game console. I have Dwight Freeney rated at 94 OVR. But whatever I do, I cannot get more than 8 sacks in a season. I've tried Freeney at OLB, but the OL just dominates... any tips oon how to get 12+ sacks a season with a DE?

I do, but I cannot break the spin away or rip the blocking assignment.

I rip block ALL the time with Aaron Smith on All-pro, I got 23 sacks with him last year. I suggest not trying to run right into him or to the inside, when trying to sack going to the outside is easiest. Im on my 6th year i think

No, you won't get any better playing on allpro.

One thing that you can do to help limit the gap between all madden and allpro is to adjust to sliders for the offensive line to make it a little easier on you at first. Then, once you get better, put them back to normal for allmadden and play
