Cam Inman, 49ers Webzone - Update on injured QB Tim Rattay, who suffered a torn groin muscle last month: Quarterback Tim Rattay watched practice without the aid of crutches for the first time since undergoing May 11 groin surgery.

Yeah, very good news for them, I dont think hes the man, but Id rather see him and Dorsey :-o

And GP I thought you were implying he wasnt on the team anymore :-o

We're really screwed if Rattay needed crutches just to watch practice. :-o

I don't know; 49ers QB's just seem to be able to get the job done by the time the season hits no matter who they are. Not being able to practice for many months will be tough on Rattay, but I'm hoping he'll show he can handle the job when the time comes.
