Gotta go with the NY Giants punter/placeholder Matt Allen,maybe their special teams coach should have told him to spike the ball should the snap or hold be muffed.

My goof of the week goes to the Entire Colts team for not even showing up. Someone shoulda told them that they were in the playoffs.

I also agree with the NYG punter, but what was even more messed up about that play was #65 (an offensive guard) running 30 yards down the field for a reception. What the heck was he thinking.

It has to be BOTH Junkin and Allen. I mean they had already screwed up a 42 yarder ealier in the game. Here they are again. 6 seconds left attempting a 41 yarder. What happens? Of course the snap is just terrible, the place holder panics and starts a chain reaction of people in blue running around like chickens with their heads cut off (which is why #66 the guard or tackle is 35 yards downfield trying to catch a pass). A) The place holder should have known the situation and made an incomplete pass to try again. B) What the hell was 66 or whatever thinking? I wanted NYG to win this game and they had it. I hope that each person (snapper, holder, kicker) get 20 lashes for screwing up the win.

i'm still recuperating in the ICU after popping a vein in my skull during the anyrism I had on the last play of the Giants game.

One additional note on the play: Allen did not have the option of spiking the ball to stop the clock, which only can be done by taking a hand-to-hand snap directly from the center. If Allen had spiked the ball, it would have been a penalty for intentionally grounding the ball and the game would have ended due to a 10-second runoff of the clock.



they still muffed the snap, but Allen did the only thing he could.

They also mentioned a pass interference call on the last play that the refs missed. Which would have been off setting PEN and they would have replayed the down.
