i just read that article:

so all said and done they should have got another shot at the FG regardless of how much Junkin and Allen screwed up because of Pass INT that was never called!!!

God Damnit I thought that was it when the game ended I Damn near kicked my TV over and now i find out the the officials screwed my team outta a fair chance to win. Even though they (J & A) did screw up they should have got another chance. And silly me thought that the wound had begun to close.

No really, I'm not having a bad day.

What the hell.... is goin' on.... in the NFL?!

Good point Gutt. Even if he couldn't spike it into the ground, he could have at least pretended to throw it downfield in under 6 seconds. He could have just aimed at one of the fatty linemen in front of him and bounced it off their butt. 4 perhaps 5 seconds tick off the clock and they have time to screw it again. He just panicked.

Even if he would have spiked it and was called for the intentional grounding, they still would have a chance to win the game on the next and last play. Whoever thought the PLaxico Burress touchdown was reviewable, sacrificing that timeout which could've been helpful at the end of the game, gets an honorable mention goof as well. It was obvious that his two feet were in.
