Good find aww. If I didn't insist on buying madden every year, I'd pick it up. Hell, I might anyway :-b

Let's hope Madden follows the price-drop!

Just $20 bucks, you could buy 5 of the NFL 2K5 when with the same money you get only two Maddens. The only time madden gets a drop in price is either that store is having a sale or its been 6-8 months into the release.

I've been hearing from people that ESPN went balls to the wall on this year's edition and they are going to try and make a better game than Madden. Apparently, they will devote a lot more detail to franchise and online play, along w/ better game play. I was still, like Hayes, planning on playing it safe and buying Madden as I always do, but THAT deal is super sweet! It would still be hard not to have Madden though, and my fear is that if I have both of them, I'll spend even more time playing Video Football Games than I already do ( and that's a scary thought 8-o )

One of the things that makes Madden great is importing my NCAA draft classes, adds a whole new dimension to Madden Franchise. Without that factor, I don't think ESPN will be as deep. Still, a killer deal!

Damn, I haven't heard anything about Madden adding anything that involves jumping over the pile.

I did that one year but decided that it was pointless. I don't really want to take the time to go through and add the names to all the players that are drafted, especially considering that I don't know that much about NCAA football so I'd have to sit on the net while doing it. So I just figure I'll take the regular random names and they're fine. What I do sometimes is I'll rename the guys I draft to match a guy that's in college that I like, and change the college he went to. That way it's a little more realistic and I don't have to bother with the importing.
