Couch was released so we just signed him. $1.25 million isn't a bad price to pay for a capable back-up, not that we need one with Favre.
1.25? I guess Couch assumes Favre will retire after this year. 1.25? Isn't Doug "freakin'" Pederson earning close to that?
A smart move for Couch (not starting anywhere), and a relatively cheap move for the Packers while they assess his talent.

Looks like Couch got what he wanted, a one year deal. This could be good for him because the Pack has shown that they have a solid grasp on the concept of passing. If he has any QB potential left in him a down field passing scheme will help to bring that out. Slow, I think the problem in Brown-town is not Couch, but Coach. As Butch blows so blow the Browns.
