There has been a lot of speculation being thrown around about the depth of the Vikings interest in former wrestler Brock Lesnar. But, as the team closed out its minicamp schedule Wednesday by eshewing practice and hanging up a "Gone Fishing" sign, it looks like the Vikings may be done with the free agent signing market.
There are still some talented veterans who could, at the least, push the current starters for either their starting job or a roster spot. These include veteran kickers like Steve Christie and Brett Conway, former Vikings guard Corbin Lacina, former Packers DE Joe Johnson, linebackers Jeremiah Trotter, Jason Gildon and Bernardo Harris and secondary men Anthony Dorsett, Doug Evans and Jason Sehorn.
The Vikings still have money to spend, but it appears the team has set itself up the way it intends to go with the personnel it has. That could always change, but, as it stands now, look for the Vikings to enter training camp pretty much with the same cast that closed out minicamp this week.
