Downgrade McCown?

Postby GMoney » Fri Jun 18, 2004 4:33 am

well now that emmit is the starting RB again... im a bit worried about McCown for a couple reasons...

1. Running game wont work, and hes gonna be forced into throwing... = Way more INTs.

2. Green supported shipp all the way... predicted 1000 and 10.... suddenly his support of McCown doesnt look so promising. This guy could end up on the bench too?

Ok, I'll downgrade him from "almost never getting drafted" to "never getting drafted"

if all they do is throw (which was probably going to be the case anyway) it does mean more INT's but probably more TDs. This team is built to pass, so I really dont see any reason to downgrade him.

I agree w/ Az, I wasnt going to touch him and still wont now

I predict he'll get 3200 yds, 18 TDs & 22 Ints. But look OK by seasons end.

You??

I'd say the over under is 3 concussions.

One good thing if Emmitt is the starter, he is great at picking up blocks for the QB.

I really like McCown's promise, but not really for this year. I am shocked that Emmit is starting...ridiculous.

Yea, how can you downgrade someone who barely ever gets drafted?
