or you can get both..... i don't feel like waiting till the 5th for my 2nd RB what if he gets snatched up and your counting on him falling to you!!!! Not worth it. That is why you get them early so you dont have to worry about having them snatched from you.
fantasy football is alot like sex. Everyone thinks they are the best, but most people really don't know what they are doing.

Barlow is a definite #3; doesn't mean he couldn't be a sleep'n #2 though. He's obviously the only offensive weapon on the squad, but can he produce for his team like Tomlinson. I don't think so. Staley is a #2 but a sleep'n #1. Pittsburgh has a good O line for the run and staley is small and fast and can bust through the holes. Remember Bettis got most his yards in Pitt. They like the run the ball down your throat approach.

It's all about touches...chalk me up for Barlow easily over Staley.

Agreed, you won't get Barlow as a #3 Rb unless you're in a league full of idiots.

Don't misunderstand me, I am not advocating waiting until the 5th round to get your #2. I am just saying that I would rather get a different #2 and then get Staley if he is around in the 5th or so (unless I can get someone else).

Of course I think he is not going to perform anywhere near as well as a good #2. I look at him as more of a receiver out of the backfield than a "give the guy 20 handoffs and let him run" kind of a back. I don't see him having a lot of success running the ball.

But I am jaded since I watched him lose his job in Philly.
