I just mock drafted with aussieboy and FreeBagel and KICKED THEIR ASSES!

Pick 6

QB: Jeff Garcia
RB: Shaun Alexander, Corey Dillon
WR: Derrick Mason, Amani Toomer, Andre' Davis
TE: Jeremy Shockey
RB/WR: Julius Jones
K: David Akers
D: Seattle

The Julius Jones plan works really well for a flex league, but I wouldn't risk it for a normal 2 RB league.

The rankings on that site are so messed up compared to mine that sometimes I barely have enough time to find who I want to draft before my turn is up. Not to mention the computer picks (half of the teams usually) seem to get QBs way way too early.

Here's a roster from one I did and yes I ended up with Julius Jones too ha ha.

QB-T.Brady(6.11)
RB-P.Holmes(1.02)
RB-R.Johnson(2.11)
WR-C.Johnson(3.02)
WR-K.Robinson(4.11), J.McCareins(7.02), Ashley Lelie(8.11)
Flex-Julius Jones (5.02)
TE-Bubba Franks (10.11)
K-Mike Vanderjagt (9.02)

I've only got the #2 and #3 slots so far. I am usually going something like this: RB, WR, WR, RB, RB, QB, WR, K, TE, D

I take WR's in rounds 2 and 3 because most people don't realize that quality RB's are so far down on their rankings (ala JJ, Staley, Shipp, etc.). KWII is so far down in their rankings, I usually grab him in the 8th or 9th round. I take Vandy or Wilkins in the 8th just to get an elite kicker and then I take NE or BAL in the 10th. Who knows why KC is their #1 ranked defense. :-?

Hey that's a nice team Bagel uhhh... where's your starting K, D and TE? Or maybe you planned on playing Leftwich as the starting K. He is a sleeper this year!
:-b

Last mock draft of the day (I can quit anytime I want to).

#4 pick

QB: McNair
RB: Portis/Dillon
WR: Ward/Booker/Givens
TE: Crumpler
RB/WR: J. Jones
K: Vanderjagt
D: Seattle

Are these drafts actually fantasy football leagues or just for fun?

Just for fun, d00d.

Anyway, I just completed my first two mocks (one that nsulham and I just DOMINATED). Azrael would love nsulham's draft - Kellen Winslow Jr. AND Larry Fitzgerald on the same team, y0.

QB: Brett Favre
RB: LaDainian Tomlinson
RB: Duce Staley
WR: Hines Ward
WR: Chad Johnson
WR: Keenan McCardell
Flex: Curtis Martin
TE: Bubba Franks
PK: John Kasay
DT: Jacksonville

and...

QB: Chad Pennington
RB: Edgerrin James
RB: Marshall Faulk
WR: Steve Smith
WR: Isaac Bruce
WR: Keenan McCardell
Flex: Brian Westbrook
TE: Tony Gonzalez
PK: Joe Nedney
DT: Baltimore

I've found that Julius Jones, good defenses, Kellen Winslow, and Chad Pennington always fall.

Even though it hasn't be intentional, I've found myself using a RB-RB-WR-WR-RB-QB-WR strategy every time. And from there, I just get the best available TE, K, and D.
