The rookie keeper sounds interesting. I think the optional keeper plan is more flexible than a strict 3-keeper count so that seems like a good idea.

I also think having divisions like you guys suggested is a good idea.

I'm wondering, should there be a limit on how many years you can keep a player? In some leagues I've seen you can only keep the same player for 3 years before he's traded, cut, or put back in the draft pool.
