Thats what I said when I saw this thread. Guys, I'd love to join, but I'm going to be away for 3 weeks starting this weekend. Looks like you should have no problem finding another member at this rate.
How many people do we have so far? I just sent in my information and im ready to go. It looks like we have more than enough to get started. I'm down for the 3 keepers and 1 rookie keeper with the penalty of ur 1st rounder.
Question: How will this league be run, Yahoo? If so, how do you just get to keep the rookie inactive?
We need one more guy, sorry MeShawn, but I wanna do the draft ASAP since we are doing slowdraft.
The league will probably be run on Yahoo, I will input the rosters and everything. I'm not exactly sure how the inactive player will work. It will most likely be he will be listed on your roster at a special spot, most likely IR(inactive rookie ) and not count as a roster spot. The only problem with that is the player will be listed as a free agent on Yahoo. I guess we will just have to make agreements not to take the IR players.

As for the draft style, I think we should go with a live draft, or maybe just an offline AIM draft instead of a slow draft. I'm not too fond of the slow draft method and with some people they might have to go away and that would ruin the draft. We are better off just finding a day that everyone can draft online at the same time. Your thoughts?

My $.02 worth for some topics I read earlier:
--I suggest 3 keepers (it is the average of the numbers suggested) for a 3 year max. That seems to work well in other leagues.
--I prefer DT's, but am open to the notion of using IDPs.
--Not too crazy about the 'rookie keeper' thing. Why pick somebody you can't play. Just one more thing to worry about. And if we do Yahoo, and we have to pick someone who is ineligible to play, they may not have him listed.
--Suggest holding draft closer to end of preseason so everybody has a better idea of who is starting/benched.
--League name suggestions? "Cafe Strangers League"..."Ground Floor Football 2004"...just some thoughts.
As I said earlier, I am in if there is room. I'll keep checking back for updates.
