Raiders camp

Postby Poobah » Fri Jun 25, 2004 11:33 am

From NFLfreaks.com:

Raiders coach Norv Turner told all players over the age of 30 on his roster that they can sit out this week's voluntary mini-camp in Alameda, the last official team gathering before training camp opens July 31 in Napa.

So what does this mean? 6 members of the team had to go through this mini-camp? B-)

"Having them (the vets) come out here and practice might make us feel good, but I think the young guys getting an understanding of what we are doing will help us in the long run," Turner said. ...

Yea, I read this on another site and it said that the final minicamp would just be a game of halfcourt 3-on-3.
