I live in Chicago, I am married and I am 30 years old. I am the Commissioner for four dynasty leagues (baseball-Year 10, hockey-Year 4, football-Year 3, basketball-Year 2). I am currently in the process of beginning a 16 team keeper league where the fee is $500 per team. The rules for this league will be determined by a Constitution that a close friend and I drafted ten years ago. We have continually updated this document with Amendments, but this past season we redrafted the Constitution to incorporate the Amendments into the body of the Constitution in order to have a cleaner, crisper document of rules.
The rules, very generally, are as follows:
16 teams
27 man roster---16 active---11 reserve
Active--1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 ST (team), 2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB, 1 defensive utility (may be DL, LB or DB)
Scoring-
6 points per TD
4 points per passing TD
-2 points per passing INT
-2 points fumble lost
1 point every 2 recepts
1 point every 4 completions
1 point every 20 rush/rec yds
1 point every 50 passing yds
3 points per FG
4 points per FG 50+
1 point per tackle/asst. tackle
4 points per int
2 points rec fumble
1 point forced fumble
2 points per sack
3 points per safety
6 points per defensive TD
Rosters will be acquired through auction where $280 is the salary cap. Teams will be allowed to keep up to 4 players from one year to the next for an unlimited number of years. Salaries go up $4 every year.
We will use CBS as the site. We will have an on-line auction.
Payment will be made through PayPal. I encourage multiple owners (more than 2 is usually not good, however) if that is what it takes to get 16 teams.
