Down With ESPN

Postby Bennett4prez » Sun Jun 27, 2004 2:00 pm

I'm so angry with ESPN! They get more money for advertisements than any other online sports web site, but half their stuff, the stuff you WANT to read, is Insider Only. Talk about abusing your power. I can't stand ESPN! I guess it's back to CBSSportsline for my sports news.

Yeah ESPN pisses me off about that. I personally used to visit there site for news all the time. I used to go to sportsline but didnt like their opinion. I personally go for rotoworld, fanball, sometimes the league sites like nfl.com. I venture to yahoo too.

I dont know - over at CBS, Mike Fabiano is a smart cookie. :-b

As for ESPN making viewers pay for the important stuff is pretty smart if you ask me.

BTW - the cafe is ok and all, but Id much rather take the advice of those geniuses on the Yahoo message board ;-7 :-o

Now for CBS's fantasy offseason updates you have to get VIP since $140 a year isn't enough. :-t :-t

While the insider is annoying I still check ESPN for Len P's articles which are excellent IMO.
