I have Trillian. I cannot get my Yahoo! IM name to connect. It says invalid password. But the password is valid, I have it taped to the back of my keyboard. I have an email address, but my Yahoo! IM name is different. Could that be the cause?

So does the forgot pasword? button work? That should help, if you already did that and typed in the password with caps lock off from what they have in their records, idn whats wrong.

Trillian is a little crazy...I dk what the deal is, but I recommend gAIM...I think it allows for yahoo messenger. It's really convenient. Go to google and search for GAIM...should be one of the first links.

Actually I went to download.com to find it. But my Yahoo! IM still wont work!

A chat download (like AIM, yahoo, etc.) that allows you to be on AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ at the same time, without all the different programs running at once.

There's a new patch out for Trill. Go to http://www.trillian.cc and then their Downloads Section. Creulean comes out with new patches every couple of months. For some reason, Yahoo is trying to keep other programs from using their Chat System. No biggie. I had the same problem and now it's fixed.

For those who don't use Trill, I highly recommend it. It's free Multi-Chat system that will monitor your AIM, Yahoo, MSN, IRC, ICQ Chats all in one convienent portable lil system. I've been using it for up to 2years now and haven't had any problems at all. The Free System is great, and they always jump up to fix any problems as soon as they happen. ;-D

Flockers, that makes me feel better. My Trillian's been down regarding Yahoo since Thurs. afternoon... whew, thought that maybe the IT people here busted me :-°
