I tried to check out the SportingNews link but was expected to signup for notification when the season starts and I don't want to commit to getting emails for every potential site.
Can anyone suggest a good site to have our league?
If your willing to pay about $50 http://www.fanball.com has a very good service. I used them last year and I was very impressed. They even have a cool little feature which allows you to give awards to teams for anything. The award shows up as a little star on the teams homepage and if you hold your mouse over it a description of the award will pop up. Last year I gave weekly awards for the team who scored the most points that week and also awards for division champs, leage champ (which was me by the way ), and for a couple other things. I'm gonna carry the division and league champ awards over to next year so everyone will always remember I won!
Ohh, and everything else like live scoring, records, forums, ect. rock as well.
It's $59 for the league and you can have as many teams as you want. (There may be a limit to teams, but if there is it's pretty high, more than you'll ever have)
So if your league has an entrance fee for teams just add a few bucks to it or take $59 from the pot.
I've never tried yahoo though, so you may want to check it out as well.
Ohh, and the one I use is the webpage version, I think there's a software version too, but I've never tried it.
When it gets closer to football season they will probably have a 1 or 2 week free trial for it so you can check it out before you buy it. If you do that just make sure to set your league up there and in yahoo (or some other free one) so you don't have problems later if you choose not to buy it.
