Allow 1 or 2 players kept in my league?

I am commish of 2 leagues both of basic style. In one league several guys are wanting to keep two players this year instead of one. What is your oppinion?

i think that keeping 2 players allows for the person to keep the main core of the team together. 1 will have it favored the people with the early picks while if there are 2 keepers it kinda evens itself out

my opinion on this is that you should take a vote - 2/3rds majority wins - otherwise keep the rules from last yr.

I would prefer two by far. Keeping one is essentialy a redraft, with a predetermined first round.

I think you need to keep whatever your rules state at this point and then have a vote to determine if you should change it for next year (unless its a consensus vote to keep 2 this year)

CKY_Rox hit it on the money that if you keep one, then the people with the early picks have the larger advantage, while keeping two evens the playing feild.

Thanks for the input guys. It really helped to clear up my mind. We will vote, but I am fairly certain that we will end up keeping two.

I don't think it would be fair to change the rules for this upcoming season. Players may have made trades or roster adjustments counting on only having to name 1 keeper.

You should vote on whether or not to change the rule and, if it passes, have it go into effect next season (2005). That way owners can prepare for the extra keeper with the draft and as the season progresses. That's assuming that you don't get 100% that want it changed. If that's the case then change the rule right away (obviously).
