That guy sure is a hardass...I wouldn't wanna lineup against him. Whoever he signs with, chances are he won't be making any sort of impact for a while, but an interesting read nonetheless.
I dont know if he will make a squad this year, but I think if he takes a whole year off just to learn football he could definitely make at least the practice squad next year
after reading that and imagining how agressive he is... it makes me really appreciate how great an athlete you have to be to be a starter in the NFL, let alone on an NFL Squad, thinking that someone with the ability/drive of Brock Lesnar probably wont see the field for 3 years.
Good god this guys a maniac! Its like a mix of John Rocker and Dick Butkus for the football world. His biggest problem is his age. More than likely he wont hit the field until hes 28-29, which is about midway through a players career. He has the specs, but he hasn't played football since highschool. Nice read though.
Some team will sign him simply because of his name. It could be a marketing stunt that turns out to be a good signing in a few yrs. If he doesnt pan out you are left with a marketing stunt - so what?
While I was reading the piece I kept thinking "Either he's still doing this in character or he's that intense". I follow wrestling religiously and I don't remember him being that dialed up "out of character"- I knew he was a total redneck but I didn't know he was that amped up.
